Several factors influence the color of our teeth: diet, tobacco, oral hygiene and other intrinsic factors.
After a clinical examination, scaling and good oral health, the dentist first takes a history to identify the cause of the staining of the patient's teeth and motivate him to change certain habits that may predispose to staining.
The practitioner will then take the current shade of the teeth to follow the progress of the treatment, then make dental impressions for the making of personalized whitening trays.
The patient will administer the whitening product himself for a treatment period of between 8 days and 2-3 weeks.
We use pure carbamide peroxide as a whitening product, in different concentrations, depending on the patient's case. This biocompatible product inflicts no damage on the teeth and includes numerous scientific studies proving it.
We do not practice chairside dental whitening because the product in question contains a very high concentration (because it compensates for several days / week of treatments in a few minutes…), and therefore more invasive on the teeth.
